When you are receiving an inbound hazardous shipment, please submit the Inbound Hazardous Shipment request form.

After you receive an email back from PEFS-Purchasing send an email to eship@exchange.upenn.edu with the below information:


1) Contact information (including phone number)

2) Ship from and ship to information

           A) Sender name/address, phone and email

           B) Receivers name/address, phone and email

3) Estimated date of shipment

4) Budget code where the shipment will be charged. (the account number given to you by PEFS-Purchasing)

5) When the need for the account number is Urgent (Immediate, next few hours) Please note clearly in your email. When at all possible please request in advance

6) You will be notified of the Fed Ex account number within one business day from Penn Mail Services eship email

7) These account numbers should only be requested for inbound hazardous shipments

8) Do not share your FedEx account number internally. Each individual shipper should follow this process for each shipment
